Welcome to the official site of the Thompson High School Band Alumni Association! The purpose of the alumni association is to reconnect all alumni to the Thompson High band program and provide opportunities for both social and civic activities. We believe we share an obligation to our current band and future alumni. The association will support the band through scholarships, needed equipment/instrument purchases and other support activities to insure that the tradition of excellence and the Thompson High School Band experience can be as meaningful to their future as it has been to ours.

October 2008 Meeting for the THSBAA - Location and Time

The next meeting of the THSBAA is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.

The location of the next meeting will be Dairy Queen by Wal-Mart in Alabaster.

If you are a THS band alumni, parents of THS band alumni, or would like to support the THSBAA, we hope you will be able to come and be an active member of the THSBAA.

Thompson High School Band Alumni Association Reunion 2008

The Thompson High School Band Alumni Association will be holding its first annual THS Band Reunion on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

The reunion will take place in the THS band room starting at 3:00 P.M.

If you were a member or a supporter of the Thompson High School band program, from it’s beginning in 1937 to the current 2008 THS band, you are invited.

Whether you were an instrumentalist, a majorette, a member of the color guard or dance team, a "Band-Aid" who helped with moving band equipment, a band booster/parent, or former band director, you are invited to attend the first annual THS Band reunion.

This reunion will be the perfect way to reminisce with band alumni and also meet current band members. If you bring your instruments, we would love to have you play some of the music from your high school days.

The Thompson High School Band Alumni Association will provide soft drinks, chips and cookies for refreshments during the reunion.

The reunion will take place from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Please come and go as your schedule permits, but please stop by and visit with us. We are working to have a door prize to be drawn at the end of the reunion, so come by and drop your name in a fishbowl. You just might be a lucky winner.

Thompson High School is located at 100 Warrior Drive in Alabaster. The band room is in the back of the school, so please come to the circle in the back of the school to enter the band room.

The THSBAA is an Alabama incorporated and an IRS 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization and all donations are tax deductible.
